I sent my husband out urgently to get this ointment and although it was soothing, it did nothing to clear up the thrush. Finally we got rid of most of the diaper rash with diluted apple cider vinegar (although the first few treatments were painful and seemed to anger the yeast), but it kept coming back because it was in his mouth and on my nipple. It was awful, we tried everything (including prescription medication) and finally it cleared up months later when I started taking a tablespoon of coconut oil three times a day. We just kept giving it back and forth to each other and one of us needed to break the cycle. I still use this ointment every once in a while for a mild run of the mill diaper rash as I prefer to use natural products and I have even used it on irritated nipples from pumping and nursing, but if you have a true thrush it might take more to clear it up. I have a VERY sensative exczma baby that get's thrush regularly and this is one of the best ointments to have on hand. Great product, great shipping and well worth the money. I have also found this to be cloth diaper compatable- compared to many ointments that will cause problems in your diapers.
