When we recently contracted a rather nasty poison ivy rash and weren't getting results from any other product, we decided to give this a try. I am so very glad we did, the results were amazing - spots that were taking weeks to slowly go away on their own were gone within 24 hours, new spots were gone in mere days.

The best part - the itching was GONE!

If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself battling the curse of the poison ivy you need this anti-itch cream.

My daughter had been suffering from eyelid eczema for weeks. She is 17 years old and hasn't had an eczema flare since she was about 10 years old. We went to a doctor and to a dermatologist, and they both just readily prescribed steroid-based creams. After reading the horrible side effects, especially when applied on the eyelid, we definitely sought to find a better solution. We tried aquaphor, Vaseline, pure Argan oil (really expensive!), chinese herbal capsules, unrefined shea butter, organic extra virgin coconut oil----nothing worked! Then we found our perfect combination. I knew that her eczema flare was related to her having seasonal allergies, so she started taking Allegra 180 mg. daily and using Aveeno Eczema Therapy moisturizing cream. I read the reviews for this cream and was really impressed. We were so desperate for a healthy solution, that I decided to give it a try. I am sooooo happy that I did. I had moderate and painful eczema and had tried several different over the counter creams; creams with anti itch agents and for atopic skin. None worked for more than a minute and my eczema started to get painfully worse. I bought this cream hoping it would work, it was pretty expensive. Well this cream does work! It sooths right away and heals! No other over the counter cream does this. Other creams help with the itch but the eczema doesn't heal. Using this cream for several days healed my moderate and painful eczema. I am so pleased I had to give a review. It's semi expensive but well worth it. I had a pretty bad episode and I was so desperate to get rid of the pain. I am such a fan of Aveeno now. Cracked skin, itchy skin, eczema ridden skin, this cream works !!!

I have had eczema since I was 13 and I am going on 30. In the past 3 years or so it has gotten much worse, spreading to my hands which is very painful and ugly to look at. My PCP and Dermatologist both tried different prescriptions and only one worked in taking away the itch but did not heal the eczema. When I saw Aveeno came out with this, the price was a deterrent but I was willing to try anything... I am so glad I did! For $11 I found a product that has almost completely faded all of the spots of eczema and taken away the itch/pain completely. HIGHLY recommended!!!

I tried this and the Earth Mama Angel Baby nipple butter--putting one on each nipple several times a day to compare both pre and postnatally. EMAB made my nipple really sensitive--so sensitive, that when my daughter nursed, I actally cried out in pain after several feedings! I switched to using Motherlove on both nipples, and the difference was prettymuch immediate. An hour after putting it on, she fed again, and there was no pain!

There have also been many times where I have neglected to put it on after several feedings in a row, and my nipples have gotten sore. as soon as I put it on again, it soothes the discomfort, and within an hour, I am back to almost no discomfort.

It smells faintly of olive oil (its first ingredient), and goes on really smoothly--it does not hurt when spread over sore nipples, and you don't need a lot (my daughter is 2 1/2 months old, and I'm *maybe* 1/4 of the way through the pot). This cream is the best. I had really sore cracked nipples the first week I was nursing my daughter. I was putting Lasinoh cream on my nipples, but it was so thick that putting it on was painful. Then, a friend suggested this cream. Wow, what a difference, it is oily but goes on smooth and heals the nipples like you would not believe. It does smell a bit like olve oil (one of the ingridiants), but it does not bother me. Highly recommended!

Our son had the most horrible case of cradle cap. The pediatrician's office suggested this cream. Don't be fooled by the photo, the jar is very small, but the salve is very concentrated. The texture and color looks like vaseline, but actually is much thinner when spread on, and absorbs easier. There is only the faintest smell, and not mediciney either. The ingredients contain shea butter and calendula.

It has really helped with the cradle cap, severely diminishing the horrible weeping/scaling/flakiness of the condition.
